Hello—
Just a quick note to say thank you for reading us. There’s a lot of people in this club (over 12k).
We’ve never set out to create stories we think people will like, but instead we’ve always created stories that we like, ‘cos honestly, pleasing over twelve-thousand queens with a million opinions is downright impossible.
So here’s our formula — in case it isn’t abundantly clear (“why is no one reeeeady???”). One day it’s million-dollar bottoms, the next it’s a conversation with poet Ocean Vuong, and today it’s glorious postcards from artist Ellsworth Kelly. It’s high brow art and high brow sluts. It’s everything that we’re intrigued and excited by.
If this is not a formula that scratches your itch, or tickles your taint, then that’s OK, truly.
(And to the person who emailed us saying we used to be cool, we were never cool, we were just younger and a lot drunker when we first started GAYLETTER as a weekly newsletter.)
We hope you enjoy this edition.

P.S. thanks to Tyler for writing about Ellsworth Kelly for this edition of GAYLETTER.
