Francesco Risso has been the creative director of Marni since 2016, until this year when he left the house. The Italian fashion designer and horror film buff’s esteemed resumé includes runs at Anna Molinari, Alessandro Dell’Acqua, and Malo, before a decade designing at Prada where he picked up some invaluable life lessons from Miuccia. Playful and process-forward, Risso is a breath of fresh air in a fashion industry that tends to take itself beyond seriously.
