The asses were out, the teteo was on, the beats were beating... a trip to Elsewhere for a night of Reggaeton.

During the first week of 2024, we went to celebrate the New Year at Elsewhere with a Reggaeton party for the ages. DJs for the night were Mazurbate, Dos Flakos, Warhov, DJPT and Skywalker.
The party was billed as “double the Mercury, double the reggaeton.” In attendance were a few NYC drag legends, Beaujangless, Kandy Muse and her drag daughter Xunami Muse who’s in the cast of the just released Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 16. There was also Papito Suave, and lots of other familiar latino faces.
The event reassured me that the queer latin community is present in NYC and they’re out-there grinding their hips to Reggaeton and perreo.
