Silas Vow was born in Montreal. After growing up in the woods of rural Quebec, he returned to the city to study and then decided to stay. He created his online persona, Silas Vow, a play on vow of silence. He described himself as “your cousin, the preacher’s atheist son,” doubling down on the naughty TradCath worldbuilding. Silas studied Computer Science, minoring in Linguistics, but ended up quitting university, wanting more freedom than a traditional job. He started his OnlyFans before dropping out.
